NCTA Safety & Human Resources Council The NCTA dues include membership with the Council. Meetings are held on a regularly around the state on topics specific to the professional network. The council has recognition programs awarding NCTA members based on their cumulative safety performance and best ratio of hours worked relative to time lost due to industrial accidents. NCTA Technology & Maintenance Council The NCTA dues include membership with this Council. The mission of the North Carolina Trucking Association Technology & Maintenance Council is to serve the interest of its members through maintenance and technical education, workshops, seminars and best practices through the collaboration of motor carrier and allied members to achieve the highest levels of knowledge, efficiency and highway safety in conjunction with an affiliation to the American Trucking Associations Technology and Maintenance Council. The Committee plans, promotes, and procures speakers and content for the Annual Meeting.
The Committee advances the legislative interest of the Association, to monitor and take action on pending legislation affecting the interests of the Association.
The Committee advances initiatives and recruitment companies to join the Association.
NC Worker’s Compensation Task Force
The task force is advocating for change of language in the current NC statue and reinstate Occupational accident policy as an affordable alternative work accident coverage.
NCTA Heavy Hauler Working Group The working group of NCTA motor carrier members that specialize in moving oversize /overweight loads or self-propelled meet with the NCDOT permit office staff on a regular basis to discuss and resolve industry specific issues.
NCTA Emerging Transportation Leaders
The Committee unites young professionals and leaders who believe in the values, contributions and importance of the trucking industry for securing our economic future.
