Wilmington Regional Meeting

Members of the Wilmington Transportation Advisory Committee submitted a request to the NC DOT to remove and/or eliminating twins and 53-foot trailers on 17 roads from the North Carolina Truck Network in the Wilmington area.

These routes include the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge, a section of Military Cutoff Road, section of Kerr Avenue and College Road.  Click here to review the entire list.

The trucking industry is meeting with Kevin Lacy, NC DOT state traffic engineer to discuss how the proposed changes will impact the movement of commerce.
